is it possible to build a .so version for Linux now?

I've been unable to build an .so that works on more than one distro (or version of the same distro) but you're welcome to try.

Managed to download it by going to rbelmont.mameworld.info then pasting the URL, it downloaded.

Zip has been reposted without some problems noted by jonwil. If anyone is redistributing the source in any form, please use the new zip not the old one. (Delete the old M1/ folder entirely before unzipping the new one to eliminate the issues).

Also, "You are expected to know what you're doing." implies getting around MAMEWorld's referrer blocker

It's not really ready for packaging yet given the lack of license/readme/etc. I just wanted to get it out there since it wasn't like I was doing much with it.

And yes, my WIP NEStopia with Pulse support also shows up as "Audio Overload" in the mixer ;-)
