Most of the parks mentioned in today's diary constitute almost unforgivable credit whoring. The only real mitigating factor came from our trip plan; we'd allowed an extra day for Upper Clements Parksjust in case, and since it wasn't necessary we spent the day mopping up every other coaster in range of Halifax. The first was Rockin' Roller Coaster (#1396), located just twenty minutes from our hotel. There was nothing else in the park that caught our attention and thus we quickly moved on.
Sandspit Cavendish Beach

Our second stop was at a SchwarzkopfWildcat by the name of Cyclone (#1397), albeit one located over three hours from Halifax on the beautiful Prince Edward Island. The drive brought us across the Confederation Bridge, the longest road bridge in Canada complete with a rather hideous $42.50 toll!
Shining Waters Family Fun Park
11th July 2009
Shining Waters Family Fun Park operates with a pay one price admission only, making the task of riding Swing's Safari Express (#1398) a rather expensive one. As its name suggests the park is predominantly a water park, with the roller coaster being one of a handful of dry attractions. The only other one of significance is a small crooked house with two rooms set at about a thirty degree angle. Ten minutes later we were done!
Crystal Palace Amusement Park
11th July 2009
The final coaster of the day, and of our trip, was Crystal Bullet (#1399), a rather nice family coaster that winds its way around the indoor Crystal Palace Amusement Park park. The ride features a tunnel mid way through the course amidst a mini golf area which is the absolute highlight of the ride.
