A world economy in recession injects major challenges into trip planning; a reduction in overtime, a reduction in spending power, and worst of all, a significant reduction in the number of operational parks. Since the middle of last year we've seen the demise of Camelot Theme Park, Celebration City, Hard Rock Park, New MetroLand, Thrill-Ville USA, and Rakutenchi, and there could well be more in the not too distant future.
