Crystal World is a combination amusement and water park located in Haridwar, a little to the north of New Delhi. The park manager told us that the Zyclone had been closed for a year and was about to be dismantled, mainly due to lack of interest; the park mainly draws primary school children, and only one guest in thirty was willing to ride it. As such the Aqua Dive (#1592) thus became our only credit for the morning. The drop delivered a mild spray rather than the soaking, marking a definite improvement over the version at EsselWorld.

The second park of the day featured a powered Dragon Coaster and a previously unknown Water Shoot (#1593), though in this case the ride looked in an absolutely terrible state. Overhead restraints and a lap bar didn't exactly inspire confidence, nor did the severe vibration while the car was on the lift hill. The drop into the water pool was fine, but a nasty jolt on the climb back out hurt my neck really badly. There was absolutely no way that I'd have ridden again, as I felt to do so would be risking serious injury. As it was it took about an hour for the pain to ease.
The park also had a worthwhile water section, featuring a good collection of slides including one with several uphill sections. We didn't get too close, but from a distance it looked to be entirely gravity driven rather than a boosted model such as a Master Blaster or equivalent.

We were all enjoying our dinner in the hotel restaurant when the phone rang from someone claiming to be from Jet Airways, advising us that our flight to Singapore on Thursday had been cancelled. To cut a long story short, the call was made by Talhat who was supposed to be on this trip but unable to travel due to visa restrictions. He caught me out completely, all the more so because I failed to read the date on a news article.
