I had a few hours to kill this morning before my friend’s wedding, and rather than spend them in my hotel room I elected to visit nearby Dudley Zoo and Castle. I spent a pleasant hour and a half wandering around the various animal exhibits, then caught a quick lap on the relocated Kiddies Coaster before heading to the exit. Readers retracing my steps should bear in mind that the funfair area opens at 11:30am – plan accordingly!
